Shepherd's Quest Info

Shepherd's Quest begins a story about three lads from the small town of Quillim. Riyan Borenson, Chadric Kelon, and Bartholomew Agreani.
When Riyan stumbled upon what he began calling 'The Crypt' he, along with Chad and Bart, embarked on a quest for fortune and fame. Within they found men laid upon stone biers, soldiers dressed in armor long fallen to the ravages of rust and time.
They discovered a modest amount of treasure and were soon to realize that what they had found was something people have been searching for centuries to find.
The King's Horde, which they believed still laid behind a wall inscribed with magic sigils, was rumored to hold treasures untold. The only problem was that if word got out, as the person to whom they sold their treasure assured them it would, they faced the very real threat of losing it to more ruthless treasure hunters and thieves.
At the bottom of 'The Crypt' they discovered the remains of what must have been a thief long dead. On the body was part of a golden circular key that, when put together with the missing parts, would set perfectly within a matching circular depression in the sigil inscribed wall.
So with dreams of treasure and adventure the likes of which only reside in tales told by the bards, they set out in search of the other parts to the 'key' and the treasure.

It should be noted that Shepherd's Quest begins a new series completely seperate from The Morcyth Saga. The laws of magic are not the same as it was in my first series. Here I wanted to explore scrolls, magical spells and items of the traditional kind, as well as potions. It is the standard adventuring fare but don't expect it to follow the rules of any role playing game.
I also switched from 'Present Tense' to 'Past Tense' beginning with Shepherd's Quest. Hope you like it.
